Beauty Hack: Mascara

Hey beauties!
I found this Mascara hack a little while ago online (I’m sorry I cant remember the source) and it may just change your life…

How to Prolong the life of your Mascara!

Mascara has a shelf life of about 3 months because after that it starts to become a breeding ground for bacteria, so I would never ever suggest keeping it for a long period of time…

But we all know that the mascara you have will dry-up oh say about a week before pay-day… This little trick will help you prolong it just long enough that you can wait until you get paid.

What you will need:

Saline solution (if you are a contact lens wearer you will always have this at home) which you can buy from your local pharmacy.

Just add in a couple of drops of the solution and then give a little shake, it will revive mascara in a second.
I just tried this trick and it really makes a difference, instantly.

I will repeat though I wouldn’t use this trick as a long-term thing, more as an extension for a few days until you can hit the shops. It’s so important to look after your health and never put yourself at risk.

Remember: Look after your eyes…

Thanks for the tip 🙂 Fortunately I haven’t had any problems with my mascaras cause I usually open only one at a time and to be honest I’ve been very lucky with mascaras cause I usually find a good one with first try 😀
